Host specificity of fruit-flies (Tephritidae) in lowland rainforests

We study host specificity of fruit-flies reared from fruits of tropical forest trees. We have reared more than 7,000 fruitflies from approximately 500 kg of fruits and more than 70 species of rainforest trees.
